The recalled products may have the presence of the microorganism called Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. The recalled Pehr Designs Inc. Kimono Rompers do not comply with the flammability requirements for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. Loose-fitting children’s sleepwear can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more readily than tight-fitting sleepwear, and once ignited will burn rapidly, potentially resulting in severe burns to large areas of the child’s body. As of November 12, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

The Christmas tree ornaments were found to contain mould on the exterior surface of the ornament. Mould may pose a health risk to individuals with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or an allergy to mould. As of November 8, 2024, the company has received 12 incident reports of mould contamination in Canada, and no injuries have been reported.

A spill of liquids (such as a boil over) can cause a short-circuit in a plug of an electronic component which controls the griddle. The griddle can turn on unexpectedly, posing a burn or fire hazard to consumers. As of October 22, 2024, the company has received 3 reports of griddles turning on in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 33 reports of griddles turning on and no reports of injuries.

The battery pack can experience overheating, melting or heat-related deformation posing a fire hazard to consumers. As of November 1, 2024, the company has received no reports of overheating in Canada, and no reports of injuries.  In the United States, the company has received 3 reports of overheating and no reports of injuries.

The products can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards.  As of October 28, 2024, the company has received 7 reports of overheating in Canada, and no report of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 106 reports of overheating and one report of a minor burn injury.

Baby walkers are banned in Canada. Children in baby walkers are exposed to hazards that would not normally be accessible if the child were not supported by the walker, posing a variety of risks of injury to the child. Children in baby walkers can also fall down the stairs, which could result in injury or death.

The company identified a potential safety hazard posing an impact injury hazard to the user’s arm associated with the 5 lb grip handle when used with weight loads exceeding 55 lbs. As of October 15, 2024, the company has received no incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 4 incident reports and no reports of injuries.

This recall involves one lot of Weed Me’s Ripped Zone In/Zone Out dried cannabis. This product was sold through authorized retailers in Alberta. Hazard identified Weed Me received dried cannabis from their supplier with the incorrect certificate of analysis. This cannabis was used to produce the affected product, Ripped Zone In/Zone Out. The cannabis was not tested for microbial contaminants as specified by the Good Production Practices requirements of the Cannabis Regulations. The affected product may contain mould, yeast, or other microbial contaminants. The exposure to such contaminants may cause temporary adverse health consequences, but the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote. To date, Weed Me and Health Canada have not received any complaints or adverse reaction reports related to the recalled product. Number Sold 186 units of recalled product were sold. The silicone spoons may crack and break apart while in use, posing a potential choking hazard to children. As of October 18, 2024 the company has received four incident reports with no injuries in Canada.
